Cold days will be here soon upon us and who doesn't need a pocket scarf? Not only will this scarf keep your neck and shoulders warm but there's pockets to warm your hands or to hide little snacks. These pockets are also not just any pockets but they will be hand embroidered to show off that creative side.

Kit includes yarns and pattern. Bonus hat pattern is also included to match your scarf. *The scarf does not need to be knitted before the class.

Hand Embroidery Class also offered without the yarn kit for the pocket scarf. Included in this kit is an embroidery hoop, needle and threads for practicing. Select option below and add to cart.

You will need to knit or crochet an 8" x 8" square for the class. Please use worsted or aran weight yarn in 100% wool or superwash wool.

Knit square - Size US 9 needles - Cast on 36 stitches (knit 3 edge stitches one each end in garter while the remaining stitches are in stockinette).

Crochet Square - Size I - Chain 40 and single crochet in each stitch until you reach desired length.

Needle or Hook size may be adjusted depending on your gauge. You want to make sure your square is semi dense - meaning not too loose or too tight.

Hand embroidery class will be offered again in October. There is homework required so please get your kits or finish making your square early enough for the class.
