Do you get that feeling when you start a new knitting project - it is like an adventure? Well you don't want to miss this one!
The Ingrid Sweater KAL will definitely take you on some new and interesting knitventures - from short rows, "fake" cables, fun knit textures and of course the construction itself is unique. So why not join us on this KAL and have a sweater by the end of October. You may even want to knit one for your significant other in your life.
This sweater has enough textures in stitching that you will not get "bored" and the combinations of holding two yarns together creates such a fantastic arrangement of colors. We have come up with some beautiful color combinations that you may have never thought of holding together before. We've included swatches to show the finished look of holding the yarns together.
Main Yarn - Fil Katia Cotton Yak - 142 yards (50g) - 60% cotton, 30% wool, 10% yak
Lace Yarn - Juniper Moon Findley Dappled - 798 yards (100g) - 50% wool, 50% silk
Sizes available in kits - 41" to 69" - this top is designed to be worn with 8" of positive ease which means you will add 8" to your actual bust measurements when selecting a size.
For example you measure a 35" bust, add 8" & that gives you a total of 43" so you will choose the size S (33 1/2 to 35 1/2"). We offer body measurements and assistance so let us know if you need help in choosing what size to make.
KAL begins July 12th and ends October 18th. This will give you plenty of time to knit this sweater completely. There is a calendar to help guide your progress. Even if you fall behind on the calendar, use it instead as a way to stay on track with all the sections.
Oct. 18th - Time to Show off your hard work!
