How to get the right fit for any knitted top. One of the most important things to consider when deciding to knit your own sweater or top.
Always wanted to start a sweater or any knitted top but didn't know where to begin? Well have no fear, the Yarn Shop Yarnies are here!
We are please to present a new service to The Yarn Shop - Made to Fit Consultation. This is a one on one session with a Yarn Shop Yarnie that will measure you properly, explain the construction of any tops such as fit and ease, and guide you in the right direction for substituting yarns and understanding the different yarn fibers and how it affects your finished project.
There is a $15 fee for this service and appointments can be made by calling us or messaging us on Facebook. Consultations will usually take between 30-45 mins.
**If you decide to choose a pattern and purchase the yarn the day of your appointment the $15 fee will be waived.
***If you haven't chosen the yarn and pattern yet you will be given a 14 day voucher at the end of your appoinment to search for your pattern and yarn then the $15 fee will be credited towards your future purchase. Purchases must be made within 14 days of appointment and voucher needs to be presented for the credit.
Finish your first sweater or top to become a member of our Top Notch Club which meets weekly on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 pm. Membership is free and earn rewards/prizes for completing each top.
