JLE Kits - Spring Wreath Double Hoop

Celebrate spring with this gorgeous design featuring a trio of chickadees surrounded by lovely cherry blossoms. Stitch the project in the double hoop format or go for a more traditional look in a regular hoop and add your own custom text to the center. Each chickadee also stitches up as a unique pattern for when you want to work on a smaller project. This design is large and does feature thread painting but you will have access to a video tutorial on YouTube. One chickadee is entirely stitched during the tutorial so I hope beginners will find the confidence to tackle this project! Stitching a single bird motif from the pattern may be an easier alternative for people new to long and short stitch and thread painting.

NOTES ABOUT DOUBLE HOOPS: The double hoop kits include a linen blend fabric, stretchy enough to work in the double hoop format. This fabric is great for double hoops but is too loose of a weave to be printed on so you must trace the design yourself. This process can be challenging as the design is complex. You may want to print the design on Stick n Stitch or similar stabilizer to make the job easier. Or, skip the double hoop and grab the pre-printed fabric instead.

KIT OPTION: If you prefer to stitch and frame the design in a regular hoop please select that option from the drop down menu. Your kit will include one 9 inch hoop (no 4 inch hoop) plus light blue cotton fabric permanently stamped with the design.
